Buildback is built by Aditya Kumar, an indie developer from India, under the explorme.com umbrella. It exists to help product teams listen to their users and share what they are building, without getting in the way of the product itself.

Feedback should not come with baggage

Too many feedback tools bring more than a conversation: oversized scripts, tracking-heavy integrations, clashing styles, and another floating bubble competing for attention. That widget pollution can make a carefully designed app feel slower and less like itself.

Buildback grew out of that frustration. The idea was simple: make a feedback widget that belongs on your site, respects your visitors, and stays out of the way until it is needed.

The widget stays under 35KB, uncompressed, and uses native Shadow DOM isolation to keep your styles and ours separate. One line of code brings feedback and a changelog into your product.
